$9 for what is basically a large whitepaper is ridiculous. The content was good for a whitepaper, terrible for a book. Lots of high level not much detail. Unfortunately, there really isn't anything else out there that I've found.

About the Author
Joshua D. Genig completed a doctorate in systematic theology at the University of St. Andrews. He is assistant professor of historical theology and director of master programs at SS. Cyril & Methodius Seminary in Orchard Lake, Michigan, as well as former pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Ascension and St. John Lutheran Church. This volume is based on a dissertation completed under the direction of David W. Brown.

Enthralling study of a family- how they deal with LIFE

Terrific read, even though the beginning goes a bit slow. Watching the characters develop, blossom, respond to challenges- plus the historical angle of the last 30 years in America, add up to a fascinating examination of how one family functioned together. This is more of a real life romance. Not the starry kind of looking-across-the-room at each other and "falling" in love. This is how true love develops and how a husband and wife realize the importance of the other. This is a love story that focuses on how real life impacts love.
Read it and then get your hands on everything Morsi has written. Her delightful (and humorous) earlier books will keep you laughing, while looking at interesting heroines who are NOT beautiful on the outside, but find their beauty in other ways. Morsi is my favorite- and that is saying a lot, considering how many great romance writers there are!

Being a huge fan of Moresi, I was excited to read Suburban Renewal. Again, she has created a page turner until the end.
Suburban Renewal introduces you to Corrie and her husband Sam. After 25 years of marriage, we peek into their morning routine of coffee and reading the paper. Without waring, Corrie brings up the "D" word ~ divorce.
Like no other novel that I have had the pleasure of reading, Moresi takes us back 25 years prior to when the couple first meets and falls in love. We learn the struggles that Corrie & Sam have to deal with over the years which begin with teenage pregnancy. Corrie's mother does not approve of Sam and is ashamed of her careless daughter. Corrie and Sam choose to get married and have their daughter, Lauren. With little money, the couple moves into a garage apartment and try to make ends meet. Corrie's mother is trying to swallow the choices that she has made until she learns that Corrie is pregnant with her second child.
Suburban Renewal is filled with Corrie & Sam's struggles - from his father coming back into his life, raising teenagers, unemployment, AIDS and suicide.
One aspect of Moresi's writing that I love is that her stories are not happy from the beginning to the end. Meaning, they are true to life and the struggles that we endure on a daily basis. Sometimes we have a happy ending, sometimes not. But, it we have people in our lives to lend us love and support, that will help us to get through anything.

Once again, in her quiet, understated way, Pamela Morsi captures the essence of what makes a simple life worth living, and an everyday person -- extraordinary and worth knowing. Her characters do not save the world from super villains or dodge bullets; instead, they live our own lives. We recognize ourselves in them. We share their pain and their joys, and we feel that if they can do it, so can we.
Corrie had great plans at eighteen: college, a career. Then she became pregnant, and all that changed. Sam did not see this as a disaster. He was only too happy to propose. They started a life together.
A lot happens in twenty-five years: a child, then another one. A business, then another. Old friends, new friends. Death, new life, new generations. Urban sprawl, economic ups and downs. Everything impacts a family. Everything could destroy it, or strengthen it. Pam Morsi takes us along on Corrie and Sam's life journey, and we root and cry for them, because they could be us.
Pamela Morsi's latest novel couldn't be better titled. Without fanfare or grand parades, through trials and tragedies, her characters find the strength to renew themselves constantly. They face disaster and destruction, and renovate themselves and their environment without faltering. We close the book with a feeling of hope: we can have this too, because it's not something Sam and Corrie were given on a golden platter. They worked hard to earn what they achieved. Suburban Renewal is a story of success in everyday life.

Captivating and exceptionally written this book has it all adventure, drama, friendship, love and the ultimate happily ever afte

Would you want to be the camera operator on a reality show? Looking at all the behind the scenes stuff and not be able to interact with the characters? Could you stand back and watch the drama play out, and not interfere with anything that happens?

In the 3rd installment of Susan Stokers Beyond Reality series, Jonathan and Kina have to continue to do just that.

Still reeling from a horrific incident on the last shoot, Jonathan is ready to get this new show on the road, so he can be done with this job and move on.

Kina Venable, has nothing to really go home to but is sick and tired of the reality show business. Having trouble dealing with the incident that happened on the last show, she’s ready to move on after this last series.

Watching through the camera lens as the men compete to see who’s the most macho, is a lot less exciting that the other shows they’ve worked on. A small crew of 5 camera operators and the producers, makes for a lot of down time. All of the operators are close, with the exception of Jeff. He’s a pain. Always hitting on Kina and infuriating Jonathan. Jonathan knows that Kina is his “One”. Their family has a lot of history in the “love at first sight” way of falling in love. Filming in the wilds of Alaska for the newest reality series titled “Extreme Alaskan”, Jonathan and Kina find friendship, love and hope for the future but not without conflict or pain.

This is my favorite of the series. All of these stories are so unique, nothing like I have read in the past. Captivating and exceptionally written this book has it all adventure, drama, friendship, love and the ultimate happily ever after. I love that you never know what Susan has up her sleeve and the turns this book took, kept me reading until late in the night. These books will always be my go to series when I need a pick me up, a recommendation to a friend or a gift for an avid reader.

Another reality show is about to begin.....

The cast and crew head to Alaska where a group of all male participants will compete to see who will take home the title of the Ultimate Extreme Alaskan! Reality show producer, Eddie, is up to his usual antics of caring more about getting good ratings for his show with little thought of the possible consequences for his crew or the contestants.

Camera operators Jonathan and Kina are back on the scene in Frozen Hearts. Jonathan has realized that Kina IS "the one" for him! Winning Kina's heart, however, is not going to be an easy feat. Be that as it may, Jonathan loves Kina and would persevere and stay on course, determined to melt all of the past hurts and disappointments that had left Kina with a "frozen heart."

Get ready for high-risk challenges, flaring tempers, excitement, life-threatening danger, uncertainty, and true love!

Frozen Hearts is a real page turning adventure!

Frozen Hearts will warm your heart

Love, drama and action keep,this book exciting. Down to earth characters that you want to be friends with get you attached. Susan Stoker does an amazing job of having everything all mix together to make a book that makes you read until the wee hours of the night and the words on the page dance. Frozen Hearts has Kina, who has been hurt in the past by men over and over and Jonathan who knows he has found his One. They have worked together but don't really know each other making Jonathan need to find away, with out scaring Kina off. Slowly a friendship develops but will they have time to form a strong enough bond before the show is finished?

John Lund was my first Linear Algebra teacher, and thus I worked through this textbook. The textbook is just ok. It has awesome practice problem sets/ quizzes that definitely help build an understanding of the material, but the style of the writing isn't always clear or accessible for students new to the concepts. I wouldn't recommend this simply because I found myself borrowing my friends textbook (by Gilbert Strang) more often than trying to use this one.

If you don't have assigned and graded homework don't bother with this book. Get another Linear Algebra textbook with good reviews, as this is one of the most poorly written textbooks I have ever had.
