Tyrion's children are in danger from the groves. his unparalleled success in the arena has shown them that there are better ways to get excellent barratti. as Tyrion races to Colne to gather his brood, he is fully aware that life with him will be a horror. but perhaps as slaves of the Illeniel grove and with his training, a few might survive.

Michael continues to relate the history of the house of Illeniel with all it's pain and love. characters are easily accessible, locations are readily imaginable and the emotions are so close to the surface that you can touch them. read on...

I enjoyed this entire series, every last book of it. Unlike some other series that I have read, the story line has run true and interesting throughout all the books. I have now moved on to the sequel Mageborn Series and am enthralled by it.

Extremely entertaining!

This story was wonderfully written. I couldn't swipe through the pages fast enough. It's just long enough for a nice escape, but it's not for the faint of heart. I would definitely peg it as an erotic horror story. For me, it was something new and exciting to read, and it was very tightly plotted and paced.

OK....I read it. I always finish what I start to read! It gave me a MAJOR EEWWWW. But I have to say it was intense and weirdly sexual. The author has real talent. I just don't find giant semi-calamari critters sexy I don't care HOW many tentacles they have!

The rainbow book that never was.

Was looking for this book for a bit and wanted to have it before the 20th anniversary of hackers. Glad I found this seller. Book arrived on time, same condition as described. Plus the seller did not inflate the price even with the price gouging that was going. The seller may have missed out on making some extra money but got a 5 star reputation/rating from me and I would recommend buying from them.

As far as the book itself goes... It was written in 1985, nothing in book... This is a great book for some one that is looking to own a little piece of computer history or a fan of the 1995 cult classic movie "Hackers".

Little Star is "Big" in the Eyes of Jesus!

The story of Christmas has been told so many times. We have heard it. We all know it. We sing of it for weeks each year. It is beautiful just the way it is. It seems to say everything.

Every now and then, however, someone comes along with a bright imagination, who can add a twist that seems to bring out an untold aspect or unseen beauty of the story. It doesn't need to be real. We all learn from myths because they can express the truth about something that leaves us with new meaning and gives us a way to teach values in a powerful and special way.

That's what Anthony DeStefano has done for us in this latest of Children's Books. It is very enjoyable book. It contains a very nice Christmas story for young children. It also presents a value that they can understand and that we want them to learn as part of living. The story and message is one which I think children will think about, one which they will remember, and one which they can try out living in their lives. They can learn, even at an early age, the fulfillment they can experience in loving Jesus and in making real sacrifices to love Him and others.

We have had our Deacons (as Santa Claus) read this to our children two years in a row at our Christmas Children's Masses. It was received well because it was directed specifically to these young people (although all the parents thoroughly cherished it). We also used another of his books on Palm Sunday, The Donkey That No One Could Ride.

It's well done, illustrates the book, and captures the flavor of it well. It kind of gives you a chance to try it on before buying! Every Christian child should have this book !!!

This is a lovely book for children which sends a message about giving of self for a purpose... and justifies the decision to use
stars on the top of Christmas trees instead of other bits and bobs. Even the youngest child would enjoy the story, and
it adds to the festivity of trimming the Christmas tree. This book is a keeper. Adults will have something to think about.

This was a great read for those of us who beat up on ...

This was a great read for those of us who beat up on ourselves about our creativity. He made me laugh all the way through the book and I sat and read the entire book in one sitting! I just couldn't put it down. This is a book that I can go to when I feel like my monkey mind is chattering out of control and it inspires me to embrace my creative side and to encourage others who feel they are not good enough. Doodling, sketching and doing my art again was revived by Danny Gregory because of his story and passion to do what you love. I love doing my art and I found my passion that was lost so many years ago. I will not ever give up on myself again. Thanks Danny!

It's worth the time and money invested in it!!

I'll preface this by saying that I'm a fan of Danny Gregory; he's seen a lot, he's done a lot, and he's been through a lot. In short, I believe he knows what he's talking about. But . . . as I read through Shut Your Monkey, I kept thinking, "How did he get inside of my head?" I had never realized before - really - that ALL of us have our own monkeys with which we have to deal, and this realization - intellectually and emotionally - helped me a lot. Now, I know I'm not a "basket case", but I do know that self-doubt and insecurity have held me back in several instances. Danny Gregory's book helped me bring my monkey out in the open where I could deal with it, suggested several excellent coping mechanisms that do work, and even went so far as suggesting some "banishing mechanisms." I can't yet vouch personally for the banishing mechanisms, because they are long-term behavioral changes and I just read the book about two weeks ago. However, I can say this without hesitation: this book has helped me, and I'll probably read it several more times in the future. It was definitely worth my time and money.

I love this little book

Ohhhh, I love this little book. When I purchased it, I was in a deep, bad creative rut. About a third of the way through, I felt encouraged and equipped with the mental tools to just get back to creative work. I am a huge fan of Danny Gregory's books and paintings, and this book is no exception. If you are feeling stuck and like quitting art forever, read this book. It's genuinely helpful.
